DELIVERY AND RETURNS

DELIVERY

Second Gate Games ships physical board games and accessories to the destinations made available during checkout. Available delivery methods and prices are calculated during checkout according to destination, parcel weight and parcel volume. Please note that prices shown are quoted through our logistics aggregator Packlink, which sources best daily rates from various available shipment providers. The duration of shipment in days quotes the duration estimated by the shipment provider, without taking into account the time it takes Second Gate Games to prepare and dispatch the order (add 1-2 days for that).

The carriers, delivery options and shipping prices available for the order are shown before payment. Second Gate Games may update available delivery methods when necessary, provided this does not affect orders already confirmed.

Unless another delivery period has been expressly agreed, orders will be delivered without undue delay and no later than 30 calendar days after conclusion of the contract. If an item cannot be supplied, the customer will be informed and the corresponding payment refunded.

RIGHT OF WITHDRAWAL

Consumers may withdraw from an online purchase without giving a reason within 14 calendar days from the day on which the consumer, or a third party appointed by the consumer other than the carrier, receives the goods.

The customer must return the goods without undue delay and no later than 14 calendar days after communicating the withdrawal. Unless Second Gate Games agrees otherwise, the customer bears the direct cost of returning the goods.

The customer may examine the goods only as reasonably necessary to establish their nature, characteristics and functioning. The customer may be responsible for any reduction in value caused by handling beyond what is necessary for that purpose.

Second Gate Games will reimburse payments received for the withdrawn purchase, including the least expensive standard delivery option offered for the original order, without undue delay and no later than 14 calendar days after being informed of the withdrawal. Reimbursement may be withheld until the returned goods are received or the customer supplies evidence that they have sent them back, whichever occurs first.

Statutory exceptions apply where relevant, including goods made to the consumer’s specifications or clearly personalised, and sealed goods unsuitable for return for health-protection or hygiene reasons once unsealed.

FAULTY, DAMAGED OR INCORRECT PRODUCTS

If a product arrives damaged, is incorrect, or does not conform to the contract, contact info@secondgategames.com as soon as reasonably possible, stating the order number and supplying photographs where useful.

The customer’s statutory conformity and guarantee rights remain unaffected. Where the lack of conformity is legally covered, Second Gate Games will bear the necessary return or replacement costs.

PRICES

Prices are shown in euros and include VAT where applicable. Shipping and any other charge are shown before order confirmation.

An obvious pricing or technical error does not create an obligation to supply at the incorrect price. If such an error affects an order, Second Gate Games will contact the customer and offer confirmation at the correct price or cancellation with a full refund.

PROMOTIONS AND OFFERS

Promotions are valid during the stated period or while allocated stock lasts. Any specific conditions shown with a promotion form part of that offer.

PAYMENT METHODS

Available methods are shown during checkout and may include bank transfer, credit/debit card and PayPal.

Bank transfer:

The order confirmation provides the amount, account details and payment reference. The customer must use the order number as the reference. Orders paid by transfer may remain pending until funds are received.

Credit/debit card

Card payments are processed through the secure payment service shown during checkout. Second Gate Games does not receive the customer’s full card details.

PayPal payments are processed under PayPal’s applicable terms. The visible descriptor may remain “Second Gate Games” provided the account’s underlying legal-holder information is accurate.
